Betiplys´ Expansion into Mexico and Latin America
July 28, 2016 – Betiply, a pioneering international Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) platform with offices in the United States and Colombia, announced today that it has selected Biz Latin Hub as its back office and legal advisor for entry into the Mexican marketplace.
Daily Fantasy Sports, wildly popular in the United States, has until now been only available in the US and Canadian markets. Betiply not only will allow Mexicans to participate in fantasy sports contests, they will be able to do so with their brethren in other nations across both North and South America.
Michael Puscar, co-founder and CEO of Betiply, indicated that this agreement signifies the beginning of a long-term partnership.
“Craig Dempsey’s team at Biz Latin Hub were instrumental in facilitating our launch into the Mexican market”, said Puscar. “Their company provided us with in-depth analysis of the current business and legal climate along with a detailed legal opinion and supporting precedents. That legal opinion was fundamental in assisting us to sign agreements with merchants within Mexico that allow our platform to handle transactions within the country.”
