Biz Latin Hub Expansion – New Office in Sydney, Australia

Biz Latin Hub is proud and excited to announce the opening of our 12th office no less than 14,000 kilometers away from the first office that we opened 4 years ago in Bogotá, Colombia, in the stunning and important business hub of Sydney, Australia.

It is indicative of our group’s evolution since beginning operations, and caps off a fantastic year for the company, with other offices opening in Panama, Brazil, Costa Rica, and El Salvador. Sydney will be the latest city to join our global revolution as we continue on our march to facilitate and enable international businesses looking to expand their commercial operations abroad.

It comes as no surprise that our group has chosen Australia as the first non-Latin country open an office. Despite not traditionally being the location of choice for Australian business, in recent years, the gaze has shifted towards the varied and wonderful shores of Latin America, which is experiencing a golden age in terms of prosperity and commercial viability. Minns and Carr, 2014 wrote that: “It is almost as if Latin America has been rediscovered by Australia nearly 200 years after most of the region’s countries declared independence from Spain”. This quote provides a perfect summary of the reality of 21st-century relations between Australia and Latin America.

Already enjoying a positive relationship with many Australian/Latin American associations such as the Australia-Latin America Business Council (ALABC), Australia, New Zealand and Mexico Business Council (ANZMEX) and clients alike, much credit must be given to the dedication and vision of our Co-Founder and CEO, Mr. Craig Dempsey. Craig, an Australian national, who after excelling in a variety of managerial roles in Australia and abroad, moved into the international business world. His commitment to promote, encourage and facilitate global business has paid off as we announce this new office in his homeland.

Latin America aside, Australia remains one of the most attractive commercial jurisdictions globally. The region boasts a diversified economy, a highly educated population and consistently ranks among the top nations in the World Bank Group ‘doing business’ reports. For these reasons plus more, the opportunities available by opening an office in Australia were too fruitful to resist. We look forward to working with individuals and companies from countries spanning Asia, North America, Europe, and the Middle East, as the commercial interest in Australia continues to grow. Biz Latin Hub is delighted to now be able to formally promote relationships between Australia and the rest of the world with the opening of our Sydney office.
