Contador Senior- Mexico

Our Group is expanding and we are seeking a new Senior Accountant based in Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico.

The position will be client-oriented and will require advanced English, excellent interpersonal skills, and a high level of proactivity.

All interviews will be in English, please do not apply for this role unless you are fluent and confident speaking in English.

This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of deliverables provided to clients, managing and administering work teams (accounting assistants), and implementing systems, processes, and controls in service delivery.

Successful candidates should possess excellent communication skills with our local teams across our diverse Latin American offices. Candidates must be certified accountants, organized, motivated, and able to cooperate as part of a team.

Essential Requirements:

Certified Public Accountant

Advanced English proficiency

Over four years of experience in similar roles

Experience in SOX and Internal Control

Advanced Excel skills (macros, formulas, pivot tables)

Experience in Payroll, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and Taxes

Specialization in a related field such as Taxation, Internal Control, IFRS, SOX, etc.

Experience using the SIIGO accounting system

Detailed knowledge of the accounting cycle, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

Experience managing interdisciplinary work teams (10 to 15 people)

Experience in managing internal and external client relationships

Desirable:

Experience in CHC Regime – Holdings
