Meet Ruben Key, Biz Latin Hub’s Business Development Specialist in Peru. Ruben has been a part of the Biz Latin Hub team for nearly 3 years, providing crucial support to the Lima office supervising operations and communications.
In 2020, Ruben will head up a new sales function with the Corporate Operations and Sales Team in Bogotá, Colombia. He will drive proactive sales strategies and support the delivery of the company’s sustainable growth agenda.
Ruben is a professional accountant with postgraduate studies in international business from. He graduated as a Public Accountant from the Catolica Andres Bello University in Caracas, Venezuela, and later completed an international business MBA from the Universidad Interamericana in Panama.

Ruben has more than 8 years of experience in managerial roles in different countries in Latin America, with a keen eye for boosting company revenue through innovative management techniques. In these roles, Ruben acquired tax, accounting, and managerial experience, and implemented effective processes for the good maintenance of companies. He also had the opportunity to establish direct communication with foreign suppliers and clients, establishing business relationships for the benefit of both parties.

Outside of the office
Outside of the office, Ruben enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures. He enjoys drawing with charcoal, playing the guitar, and is a craft beer enthusiast.
