Mauricio Zuñiga, Biz Latin Hub’s Country Coordinator for Costa Rica, is a lawyer who specializes in Public Notary. He attended and graduated from Universidad Fidelitas in Costa Rica. Mauricio has more than 15 years of experience in the Hospitality and IT industries. Over the course of his career, life has taken him through the most interesting roles. He has been able to develop a unique set of skills that Mauricio is now applying as a Country manager for Biz Latin Hub in Costa Rica.
Mauricio was born and raised in Guanacaste, north of the Pacific of Costa Rica. Mauricio became a water sports aficionado after living all his life near the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. Mauricio has done it all! From snorkeling to boogie boarding, from fishing to sailing, the freedom that only the ocean can deliver has shaped an important part in Mauricio’s life.
With his diverse experience, he has been able to work for companies like Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Mauricio learned how to work with the most high-end guests from multiple industries and economic varieties. Through his hospitality work he met with CEOs, Presidents and celebrities. Mauricio was challenged to deliver the best of his capacities to create a great customer experience, developing proactive thinking and breaking the status quo to make his management and professional goals come true.
In 2010, Mauricio reinvented himself and started a new career in law. He worked for some of the most respected IT companies in the world, such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise. This experience allowed Mauricio to develop skills for Lean Automation and IT Services. During this time, Mauricio was able to complete his undergraduate degree in law, and specialized in Public Notary.
Mauricio strongly believes in proactive and efficient work ethic, putting his focus on his customers and ensuring he makes the effort required to create new business in Costa Rica. He aims to provide a great experience for entrepreneurs, leading companies and investors into their international expansion.
