Legal Counsel

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our in-house legal team supporting the Americas region. If you are a proactive and collaborative legal professional with a strong commercial mindset, solid legal foundations, and the ability to create and structure processes across multiple jurisdictions, this opportunity is for you. This role is ideal for someone who brings a fresh perspective, is tech-savvy and agile, and understands how to balance legal and commercial risks in a dynamic, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently negotiate and draft a wide range of legal documents, including client and supplier contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and other commercial agreements.
- Provide timely and practical legal advice to internal stakeholders across the Americas region.
- Support group-wide initiatives such as M&A activities, IT procurement projects, and other strategic programs.
- Advise on HR-related matters and client disputes, assessing legal and commercial risks and proposing pragmatic solutions.
- Work closely with the Group Legal team to maintain, streamline, and enhance global legal infrastructure, including templates, policies, and online terms and conditions.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks across the business, ensuring compliance while enabling commercial objectives.
- Contribute to the development and structuring of legal processes and frameworks for the Americas region.
- Provide ad-hoc in-house legal support as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law and qualification as a lawyer.
- Minimum 4-5 years of professional experience in a law firm, in-house role, or a combination of both.
- Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Solid legal foundations with the ability to understand and assess commercial and legal risks.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and regional teams.
- Proactive, accountable, and solution-oriented approach to legal challenges.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.

- Experience supporting multinational or regional operations across multiple jurisdictions in the Americas.
- Strong interest in legal operations, process improvement, and the use of technology to enhance legal efficiency.
- Experience working closely with commercial, HR, IT, or corporate services teams.
- Ability to bring new perspectives, think creatively, and challenge existing ways of working constructively.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments with changing priorities.
