We are looking for a SecOps and IR Analyst to support our cybersecurity workstream as part of a broader integration program. If you have strong experience in security operations, incident response, and implementing security controls across complex IT environments—and you thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional teams—this opportunity is for you!
Temporary Assingment – 4 – 6 months
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and support cybersecurity controls across IT systems undergoing integration, such as during M&A activity, cloud migration, or infrastructure modernization.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Program Management teams to ensure security requirements are embedded into architecture, planning, and execution.
- Conduct technical risk assessments and gap analyses of current and incoming environments, identifying areas requiring remediation or improvement.
- Integrate and optimize enterprise security tools such as SIEM, EDR, IAM, and vulnerability management platforms.
- Support incident response activities, including initial triage, investigation, coordination, and documentation.
- Assist in developing and implementing security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure secure integration and regulatory compliance.
- Provide hands-on support for identity and access management (IAM), vulnerability remediation, and secure configuration activities.
- Track and report on cybersecurity deliverables, risks, and mitigation actions within project timelines.
- Maintain documentation for technical changes, integration tasks, and compliance audits.
- Ensure alignment with relevant frameworks and regulations such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and GDPR.
Requirements
- 3 – 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, SecOps, or technical security roles, ideally in integration-heavy or high-complexity environments.
- Hands-on experience with security operations and enterprise security tools (SIEM, EDR, IAM, cloud security platforms).
- Strong understanding of incident response processes and methodologies.
- Familiarity with IT integration processes, change management, and project-based workflows.
- Experience working across hybrid environments (on-prem, cloud, multi-region).
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
- Proficiency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese to collaborate effectively with international teams.
Desired Requirements
- Experience supporting cybersecurity within M&A integration programs or large enterprise transformation projects.
- Prior involvement in implementing or optimizing IR processes and automation.
- Experience with regulatory frameworks and audits within multinational environments.
