About the Role
Our Chilean office continues to grow, and we are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated, proactive, and versatile professional who can add value to our workflows and service delivery for international clients.

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and work closely with global clients, gaining exposure to diverse accounting, tax, and operational environments. Experience in local taxation and human resources processes will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounting operations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
  • Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis
  • Manage tax compliance, including corporate income tax and local filings
  • Handle payroll processes and ensure compliance with labor regulations
  • Utilize local platforms such as SII, Dirección del Trabajo, and PREVIRED
  • Ensure compliance with Chilean GAAP and IFRS standards
  • Support and lead accounting team members, including task delegation and performance guidance
  • Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain strong client communication and ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Participate in process improvements and implementation of accounting best practices

Requirements

  • Spanish (Native) and English (Intermediate)
  • 5–15 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Strong knowledge of Chilean tax regulations, especially corporate income tax
  • Experience with SII platform (electronic invoicing, administrative requests, etc.)
  • Knowledge of labor regulations and experience with Dirección del Trabajo and PREVIRED platforms
  • Solid understanding of Chilean GAAP and IFRS
  • Advanced or intermediate-advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with accounting systems, payroll processes, and financial management tools
  • Proven experience supervising and leading accounting teams
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialization in payroll management
  • Experience working with multinational companies and intercompany transactions
  • Experience in treasury-related functions
  • Background in internal and external audits and internal controls implementation
  • Ability to analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations
  • Experience improving accounting and financial processes
