Senior Associate, US Tax

Our team continues to grow! We are looking for a Senior Associate, US Tax to join our team. If you have experience preparing and reviewing U.S. corporate tax returns, enjoy working with multiple clients, and want to be part of a collaborative and international environment, this opportunity is for you!
This role offers the chance to work closely with experienced tax professionals, contribute to high-quality client deliverables, and support the continued growth of our US Tax practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review U.S. federal, state, and local corporate tax returns
- Prepare tax workpapers, reports, and supporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and reporting requirements
- Conduct research on federal, state, and international tax matters
- Assist in developing and implementing tax planning strategies
- Provide guidance on tax implications of business transactions and structures
- Maintain accurate tax filing records and client communications
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Supervise and mentor junior associates, supporting their professional growth
- Stay up to date with U.S. tax law developments
Requirements
- 2–5 years of U.S. tax experience in a public accounting firm
- Strong focus on corporate tax returns
- Solid knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation
Desired Requirements
- CPA or EA certification (preferred)
- Experience researching complex tax matters
- Previous experience mentoring junior staff
- Strong client-facing experience in a professional services environment
