We are looking for a US Tax Manager to join our US Tax team. If you have strong experience in international corporate taxation, enjoy working with complex tax matters, and want to be part of a collaborative and high-performing environment, this opportunity is for you.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering regional exposure and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of our US Tax practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review federal, state, and local corporate tax returns.
  • Review tax workpapers, reports, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with US tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies.
  • Conduct in-depth research on complex federal, state, and international tax matters.
  • Provide guidance on tax implications of business decisions, transactions, and structures.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders on tax-related matters.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates and staff, supporting their professional development.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality and efficient service delivery.
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and regulatory developments.

Requirements

  • 6–9 years of experience in international corporate taxation within a public accounting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of US federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Experience reviewing corporate tax returns and related documentation.
  • Strong analytical, research, and accounting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired Requirements

  • CPA or EA qualification preferred.
  • Experience with GoSystems Tax preparation software.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
