About the Role

We are currently looking for a Junior Corporate Lawyer to join our legal team in Quito, Ecuador. The selected candidate will serve as the primary legal point of contact for our local office, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with Ecuadorian corporate regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate, tax, labor, and general business law.
• Draft and review contracts, powers of attorney, shareholder assembly documentation, and client legal proposals.
• Lead company formation processes and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Conduct quality control of legal and accounting services.
• Support the commercial team with client-facing activities and proposal development.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment with company processes and deadlines.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with the administration and legal coordination of the Ecuador office.

Mandatory Requirements

• Ecuadorian Law Degree and valid license to practice law in Ecuador (registered with Colegio de Abogados and Judicial Council).
• 2 to 5 years of experience in corporate/commercial law or general business legal services.
• Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written), able to lead meetings and draft documents in English.
• In-depth knowledge of local legal procedures, contract drafting, corporate compliance, and company formation.
