Senior Accountant

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Chile. This is a key position within the organization, offering the opportunity to manage core accounting and financial operations while working closely with international clients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting, tax, payroll, and treasury functions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and maintaining accurate financial reporting. This role also involves team supervision and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting, tax, payroll, and treasury operations
• Prepare and review financial and management reports
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and accounting standards (PCGA/IFRS)
• Oversee monthly close processes and financial accuracy
• Manage relationships with international clients
• Supervise and guide team members, including delegation and conflict resolution
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient workflows
• Support audits, internal controls, and process improvements

Requirements

• Professional degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Intermediate level of English (written and spoken)
• Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and accounting standards (PCGA/IFRS)
• Experience with Excel, accounting systems, payroll platforms, and tax portals (SII, PREVIRED, Labor Directorate)
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis
• Leadership experience, including team supervision and stakeholder communication

• Experience working with multiple industries or international clients
• Knowledge of intercompany transactions and multinational environments
• Experience in treasury, audits, and internal controls
• Strong analytical skills and experience in process improvements
