Corporate Lawyer

Our Group is expanding, and we’re creating a new client-focused position, Business Development Lawyer. This role works closely with Senior Management to manage and close leads and to onboard new clients. To be successful in this role you will need previous corporate legal experience, excellent communication skills, be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and be delivery-focused.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate a small client team to both manage inbound leads and onboard new clients
• Ensure the responsive and professional management of leads
• Engage with and close new leads
• Manage internal client onboarding escalations under guidance from Senior Management
• Own and improve company sales documents, templates, and pricing summaries
• Using templates to draft new proposals
• Preparation of Internal reports, templates, and forecasts
• Other tasks as directed.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Fluent English
• Law degree within Latin America (or equivalent)
• Past team coordination experience within a very fast environment
• Client facing experience
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish
• Exceptional work ethic and willingness to support outside of standard office hours
• Very Confident, outgoing, and able to build relationships (and make sales)
• Stable professional work history

Desirable:

• Similar or comparable experience
• Portuguese language skills
• Previous sales experience
• Accounting and/or Tax qualifications (or similar experience)
• Experience working with formal CRM software
• Work and/or living experience in multiple Latin American countries
